Wear Edge five hundred or 800 on your Wrist

I bought this solely for the wrist strap which lets me wear my Garmin Edge 500 (or 800) on my wrist while jogging. No issues truly. But the mount are not able to be rotated so you have to put on the edge so it reads along your arm, not perpendicular to it like a standard watch.

Used the most affordable option £18.forty but the business experienced an arse coveringly lengthy dispatch day, they failed to dispatch for 3 times but it arrived up coming working day…but nevertheless as well long for my liking.The strap is a little too extended for my quite skinny wrists but most are so i pad out with a wrist band. Its great high quality and quite low profile. Best to match the GPS before placing the strap on as it requires a firm twist, and take it off to get rid of it.The locational lugs use a diverse approach of locking into the bayonet base than the kind utilized on the Edge 500. The Edge has indentations in the base which locate with other individuals in the mount. Whereas the sort on this package employed dimples on the bayonet fitting which look like they will dress in out in time, but each are interchangeable (the edge has each kinds) and do fit correctly and quite securely. I have been for a run with it with my Edge five hundred and it sits properly and is unnoticable.I fitted the other wrist option to an previous velcro animal strap i had lying all around and it suits fine, perhaps a little bit wobbly as it is increased up, but would be good with a typical wrist strap.The bicycle mount is equally very good & lifeless straightforward to fit with zip ties, unscrew the central screw to turn by 90 degree from stem to bars. It does sit 1/two increased up than the Edge five hundred mount but which is no difficulty for me.I will not have a use for the 201 holder and i used a knife fairly than the pin resource supplied.So general it permits you to run with a Edge five hundred (or the other 510, 800 and many others) which is helpful if your Forerunner is absent for a new battery of fault restore, (I’m on my sixth!) and you get yet another wrist alternative to give away and a bike mount too!

Not bad

I only bought it for the wrist strap as a way to dress in my Edge 810. Lines up together the length of your arm, so simplest to read through when worn on the inside of. The content is a little bit as well hard for a cozy in shape. Rather high-priced for my limited use but it does a task.
