Customer Reviews of Garmin Forerunner 405 with Heart Rate Monitor and USB ANT stick – Green
Very good basic GPS view but hopeless in the rain
I have experienced this Garmin Forerunner 405 with heart monitor for 17 months now and have run in excess of 1500km with it now. On the whole it is pretty very good. My negatives possibly outweigh my positives for this view at the second although. The contact bezel is impossible to use very easily and does not function at all if your fingers are gloved or slightly moist or soaked. The GPS can frequently take a good 5 minutes or much more to discover satellites and in spite of frequently managing the identical route, step for stage, it will tell me that the length is various every time. The view does not operate in the rain at all… it goes mental. It may possibly be water-proof, but the bezel doesn’t like drinking water, so it just is not going to perform when wet.I would really like to exchange it with something without having a contact bezel but are unable to justify the expense at the minute.
Ideal!
Works extremely effectively. The only issue is that you can’t established a risk-free battery mode (shutdown screen or the unit fully) and each and every 3-four days it truly is necessary to charge it.
Very disappointed…….
Obtained this product as a existing for my partner who is running the London Marathon. The very first observe bought following the first upload, the GPS stopped doing work. Amazon altered it and the alternative the battery did not cost. Complete shame and extremely upset that two watches could be so unreliable
